INFECTION

Spiritual Meaning:
In spiritual development, and particularly when dealing with outside influences, we can become contaminated – or infected – by ideology and spurious beliefs. We need to be aware of the possibility that we can be ‘taken over’by wrong thought and negativity.

Psychological / Emotional Perspective:
When we are made uncomfortable by external circumstances in waking life, this may appear as an infection in a dream.

Everyday Material Aspects:
Dreaming of having an infection suggests that there is the possibility of us having internalized negative attitudes from other people. Depending on where in the body the infection appears, there is information as to the type of ‘infection’. For example, an infection in the leg may indicate that we feel we are being prevented from moving forward quickly enough in waking life.
